From Drab to Fab: A Stunning Small Primary Bathroom Makeover

a photo of a vanity sink, bronze faucet, soap dispensers, a hand towel against a white shiplap wall

A couple of years ago, we completed a stunning renovation of a small primary bathroom in North Wilmington, and the results are nothing short of amazing! The original bathroom had those square wall and shower tiles that we see all the time here in homes built in the 50s and 60s. And even though they were lucky enough to have a neutral gray (vs. the light pink, light yellow, light blue, or avocado green you can find!), they desperately wanted an update.

Features of this beautiful update included:

- Light wood vanity for a fresh and airy feel

- Stylish bronze faucets and fixtures

- Slate gray flooring using 12x24" tiles

- One accent wall in the shower using a gray, light brown, and white marble in a geometric pattern

- Pebble tile shower floor for a spa-like experience

- A built-in niche to keep soaps, shampoos, and conditioner neatly organized (and not sitting on the shower floor like before!)

- Charming white shiplap wall behind the vanity and toilet, for a nod to the farmhouse style loved by the homeowners

- Fresh new paint to complete the look

The homeowners are absolutely in love with their new bathroom, and we couldn't be happier with how it turned out!
